On Thursday 5th August, Bhakta Prabhu conducted a cooking class at the MelbourneTemple. The initiative was supported by Port Phillip Council thus the presence of the Mayor, Cr Frank O’Connor. Cr O’Connor introduced the class with a speech after which he left the floor to Bhakta Prabhu’s culinary performance.
The venue for the event was the Prasadam Hall at the temple; the hall was especially decked out for the occasion by Acintya Rupa Mataji with the efforts of her dedicated assistants. Bhakta Prabhu reported an attendance of around 120 guests, all of whom were eager to learn how to prepare delectable vegetatian dishes the ‘Hare Krishna’ way!
