Dear Devotees,

Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada, Sri Guru, & Gauranga!

This season everyone seems to be giving gifts to one another, which nourishes our bhakti according to Nectar of Instruction, Text 4: “Offering gifts in charity, accepting charitable gifts, revealing one’s mind in confidence, inquiring confidentially, accepting prasāda and offering prasāda are the six symptoms of love shared by one devotee and another.”

Following these instructions, we established a new website called PrasadamGifts.com where devotees can order prasadam; we then prepare that order, offer it to the Lord, pack in decorative cookie tins, and ship to your friends, family members, co-workers…..or anyone. What better gift to give than the Lord’s mercy in the form of prasadam?

I sent out our introductory email this morning, but because we sent to a large group our notice may have ended up in Dear Devotees,

“If you eat bhagavat-prasadam, then gradually you become spiritualized. It has got the potency. Therefore it is said that realization of God can be done by the tongue. Sevonmukhe hi jihvadau [Brs. 1.2.234]. If you engage your tongue in the service of the Lord, then you realize God realization.” (Srila Prabhupada Lecture, September 9, 1973)
